Foods for direct consumption
Bars, restaurants, canteens and all services providing ready-to-eat food should provide information on the presence of allergens. Such information shall be provided in a way that allows it to be traced back to the product before it is served to the consumer.
The support can be of various kinds, even digital, and must be placed in sight. Alternatively, the possibility of asking staff for information concerning allergens may be indicated. In any case, the information should also be contained in paper documents that are easily accessible to the consumer and the competent authority.
