You Partner for the economy

The Chamber of Commerce is a public-law body.

Its duties include the representation of the economic world, the implementation of its institutional functions and the promotion of the economy.

The IER - Institute for Economic Research analyses the South Tyrolean economic trends.

The WIFI - Training and Human Resource Development supports companies in the field of human resource development. Thanks to its wide offer of training programs it helps companies, entrepreneurs and employees to improve their skills.

The Company Development department provides support for business start-up and business transfer. Moreover, it implements several other services to promote the competitiveness of South Tyrolean companies.

Thanks to its special agency, that is the Institute for Economic Promotion, the Chamber of Commerce fulfills certain duties and tasks that require the agility and effectiveness of a private company.

The headquarters of the Chamber of Commerce are located in Bolzano/Bozen. Its branch offices are in Silandro, Merano, Bressanone, Vipiteno and Brunico.

The President of the Chamber of Commerce Mr Michl Ebner is also the legal representative.

Offices and departments of the Chamber of Commerce are managed by its General Secretary, Mr Alfred Aberer.

The Chamber of Commerce and the Institute for Economic Promotion have 150 employees in total.

The Chamber of Commerce has received the certificate “audit familyandwork” for its family-friendly personnel policy.
